  • What is MacinCloud?

MacinCloud is a remote Mac rental service which can be accessed via computer or mobile device. You access rented Mac servers through the Internet to develop apps and run Mac programs.

  • How does it work?

Using your web browser or a remote desktop program you will connect to the Apple manufactured Mac server. After logging in, you can remotely view and control the Mac as if you are sitting in front of the Mac screen.

  • How much will it cost?

You pay for the time you rent, starting as low as $1 per hour. Please see our pricing menu to learn more.

  • Can I get a trial?

Yes! Our Monthly and Weekly plans come with a one day trial. Simply subscribe to the plan that meets your needs and you’ll receive instructions to access using your web browser or a remote desktop program.

  • What software is available?

We provide you with all the tools you need to start developing apps right away. Please view Tools and Applications for a full list of the provided tools.

  • Where can I save my files?

In addition to local hard drive space, you can use cloud-based storage programs, such as Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive, Box, and more.

  • How's the performance?

The performance will depend on your actual Internet speed (upload speed > 100Kbps; ping/latency < 150ms). Please test your actual Internet speed with our server by following this Guide.

  • How should I start?
